Workshops
In the workshops, industry representatives came together with academicians and students to discuss the biotech students’ transition processes.

Erasmus+ Days
An introductory event was held at the Faculty of Life Sciences – Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University on 11.10.2023 within the scope of Erasmus+ Days. Biotech students, academicians and sector representatives participated in the event.
Meeting in Maribor
The meeting was held between 18-19.10.2023. At the meeting, partners discussed the video tutorials’ preparation process and scheduled WP3 and WP4.

Presentation at the Conference
Bioteach project was introduced by Silva Grobelnik Mlakar on 14.06.2024 at the 8th Conference on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Plant Genetic Resources.
Focus Groups
Focus group activities aimed to collect data regarding the opinions of the participants about the design thinking integration into biotech courses to ensure smooth transition from university to industry.

Meeting in Zagreb

Contribution to Academia
BIOTE(A)CH team has been preparing an academic paper to introduce the project practice to academia. Stay tuned for more information.
The Biotech students visited industry representatives and local authorities like Çanakkale Agriculture and Forestry Provincial Directorate. They introduced our project and learned about the activities in the field of agricultural biotechnology.
Prototype Presentations
Our students made efforts to prepare their prototypes and presented them to industry representatives. They participate in Teknofest and reach out to share their ideas with the industry.
